Baked potato chips
The potato chips are thin, crispy and tasty potato flakes. Even better if homemade! Excellent as a side dish, they are also ideal for an aperitif or as a snack. Although they are usually fried, we at Coppola Patate offer you the recipe to bake them, ensuring the same result as the fried ones. Skeptical?
How to get crispy and soft potato chips like fried ones
Peel the Fornatines and cut them with a mandolin or a knife, trying to obtain thin and regular slices, at least 3mm
Keep them under running water for a few minutes and dry them well with a towel.
Season the slices with olive oil, salt and rosemary q. b.
Arrange the slices in a single layer, avoiding that they overlap, on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200/220# for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
