Baked potato and sausage pie
Today’s dish is a secret to prepare a dish not just simple or light, but definitely extraordinary!
Ingredients (4 people)
1 kg of potatoes
200 grams of provola
300 grams of sausage
1 clove of garlic
3 tablespoons of béchamel sauce
extra virgin olive oil
Boil the potatoes in plenty of salted water for about 30-40 minutes.
Fry a clove of garlic in extra virgin olive oil and after about a minute add the onions previously sliced. Season with salt and knead for a few minutes.
Add the sausage and continue cooking, adding some vegetable broth or hot water to cook onions faster.
When the seasoning is cooked and the cooking water has been absorbed, turn off the flame and leave aside.
At this point the potatoes will be cooked so deprive them of the outer skin and coarsely pestale with a fork. Alternatively, if you want to get a puree instead use the potato masher for a smoother result and without lumps.
Preparation of the mess
To make the potato and sausage pie, first of all, grease the bottom of an oven dish with butter, then add a layer of potatoes, already seasoned with salt, and place in the center the dressing of onions and sausage.
Add the chopped cheese and the béchamel sauce and cover with the remaining potatoes.
Add some butter cubes to the surface and then put in a preheated oven at 200 hence C for about 15 minutes. The mess will have to grate well on the surface.
Once you’ve made this mold, let it cool slightly and serve.
