Potato pizza

Potato pizza is an easy and appetizing recipe, perfect for a fun dinner. A simple but original idea to try and enjoy!

Ingredients for the base

800 grams of potatoes
50 grams of flour 00
Ingredients for garnishing
150 grams of tomato puree
125 grams of mozzarella fiordilatte
60 grams of bacon sliced
grated parmesan
extra virgin olive oil
dried oregano


Boil the potatoes for 15 minutes in boiling salted water, drain and peel them while they are still warm.

Let them cool and grate with a grater in large holes, collecting the contents in a bowl.

Add the flour, a pinch of salt and pepper.

Mix and distribute this mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, giving it the thickness of about 5 mm.

Bake in a hot oven at 200 a.s. for 20 minutes.

In a small bowl, season the tomato sauce with oil, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese to taste and some oregano.

Mix well and distribute on the basis of potatoes. Add the mozzarella, previously done drain well and diced.

Put back in the oven at 200 º C. until the mozzarella is melted and the base of potatoes golden.

Bake the potato pizza, add the speck and basil and serve immediately.

The potato pizza is, at the expense of its name is a very soft savory cake without a base.A real explosion of flavor at each bite.
