Squid with potatoes

Today, we offer you an appetizing second course that successfully combines ingredients of sea and land. Here is the recipe for a tasty soup based on squid stew, pieces of potatoes and beets.


500 grams of clean squid
200 grams of beets
4 medium sized potatoes
1/2 glass dry white wine
2 cloves of garlic


To make squid with potatoes and beets begins to cut into strips both squid, well washed and dried, both beets.

Also cut the peeled potatoes into regular cloves. Heat 4 or 5 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan and brown the garlic. Remove it and put the potatoes in the bowl. Stir well, brown and after about ten minutes add the squid.

Salt, let flavor well over a high flame, then spray the wine, making it evaporate. Lower the heat, add a glass of water, cover and cook for twenty-twenty-five minutes.

Add the chard, stir well and add a ground pepper. Sprinkle with oregano and chopped parsley and cook for another five minutes.

Remove from the heat and let the squid with potatoes and beets cool before serving.
